Charlie Hebdo Incident Overshadows Press Conference Implicating Saudi Arabia in 9/11

Amidst the hysteria following the Charlie Hebdo incident, a critical event took place, going virtually unnoticed by media. Representatives on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC recently held a press conference about the urgent need to declassify the 28 pages of the 9/11 Senate report, which, according to Anti Media, “implicates terror aid and funding from Saudi Arabia and possibly other countries.”

In the aftermath of 9/11, President George Bush censored 28 full pages of the 800-page report. As the New York Post reports, the

[t]ext isn’t just blacked-out here and there in this critical-yet missing middle section. The pages are completely blank, except for dotted lines where an estimated 7,200 words once stood.

According to Senator Bob Graham, the “missing” 28 pages of the 9/11 report “point a very strong finger at Saudi Arabia as the principal financier” of the 9/11 hijackers. Eleanor Clift at The Daily Beast summarized Senator Graham’s press conference comments, writing:

The Saudis know what they did … and the US knows what they did, and when the US government takes a positive of passivity, or actively shuts down inquiry, that sends a message to the Saudis.

The Saudis continue to deny any involvement in 9/11, despite the “incontrovertible evidence” that Saudi state officials – including high-level diplomats and intelligence officers – helped the hijackers both financially and logistically.

Saudi Arabia continues to spread Wahhabism, a radical stream of Islam, most notably in relation to the emergence of the Islamic State, their out-of-control adolescent child.

The Islamic State, as Senator Graham notes, “is a product of Saudi ideals, Saudi money and Saudi organizational support.” Former MI-6 agent Alastair Crooke convincingly argued that one cannot understand the Islamic State if one does not know the history of Wahhabism in Saudi Arabia.

To muddle things even more, a report by Gregory Gause of the Council on Foreign Relations noted that despite divergent views on policy, the US and Saudi Arabia “have generally agreed on important political and economic issues and have often relied on each other to secure mutual aims.” Such a statement suggests that Washington and Riyadh are in cahoots, which, if true, means 9/11 and the rise of the Islamic State may have been deliberate tactical maneuvers to widen the ever-expanding “war on terror.”

To sum up, the Saudis played a major role in 9/11, the most devastating attack in US history, and now they are teaching and funding the US’s most fierce enemy, the Islamic State.

Apparently none of this is more important than an attack on a satirical newspaper.

  1. Reblogged this on Arlin Report and commented:
Our governments denial of the Saudis’ role in 9/11, if they in fact do have evidence of their involvement, makes them an accomplice of terror and murder on it’s own citizens.

  2. Life is full of surprises. All of the pilots were from Saudi Arabia and the Leader loaded all of the Saudi Royals who were in the country and exited, and now the Muslims are blaming 9/11 on the U.S. and the Jews. Maybe the blank pages will tell the real story.
