My Few Words on the :atest Crisis in Gaza

I’ve watched the news. I’ve read all kinds of news sources.  I’m disgusted, upset, and frustrated. I can’t even stomach the hate and ignorance I see in people. It’s not easy to bite my tongue, but I do it anyways. On several occasions,  I’ve written entire posts on how I feel about the situation, but every time I finish a piece of writing, I cut it because I feel that my words aren’t able to bring justice to my feelings.  My current state is best summarized through the words of another.

‘If you are neutral in situations of injustice you have chosen the side of the oppressor’ – Desmond Tutu

  1. It was quit difficult watching the news today. It is hard for me to fathom just how long the conflict has gone on, in one version or another. (I don’t know if that’d be the accurate way of putting it.) I think of the thousands of years of history and culture in the region which is so amazing, it is such a special place on earth. I want to visit there one day. Years ago, I’d hoped when a new generation came along, hearts would be more open, on all “sides”. I don’t like using that word though because I believe we are all one people.
