  1. I wanted to hate the opening ceremony but was disappointed because I kinda liked it. Although, I did questiont the political irony that plagued the whole thing, also the commentators didn’t have many positive things to say about some of the nations, just their wars, economic troubles and the like – almost as though they though Britain wasn’t involved in anything like that.

    1. Those are some important observations you made. The spectacle itself was undoubtedly grand and entertaining, but we oftentimes overlook more important things when watching. Just wanted to share with viewers how some people perceived them. Thanks for sharing!
